Fast Track Yourself from Sad to Happy

DO YOU NEED HELP with finding direction in life or with making an important decision? My HIGH-SPEED, GUARANTEED life coaching service is different from others, in this combination of three specific ways:
  1. My emphasis is on getting you where you want to be, in terms of your decision or direction, within just a couple of hours. That's why, unlike most others, I do not sell pricey "packages." Thus, the name of this domain: XpressLifeCoaching.com.

  2. Dozens of five-star third-party reviews on Google and Yelp (see sampling below) attest to the value of my approach.

  3. I'm so confident I can help you that if at the end of our session, you feel that you are not substantially better off than you were at the beginning, I will either refund your money (if you have prepaid) or waive my fee entirely (if you have not).
Maybe what you need is help staying on track, with regard to a goal you have already set for yourself, through regular meetings and being "accountable" to someone by email, another service I provide.

Over the years, numerous clients from all walks of life have told me that I have performed minor miracles for them, typically in the short space of a couple of hours. How do I do it? To begin with, I draw on an exceptionally broad range of life experiences, which allows me to comfortably step into almost anyone else's shoes. During the session, I enter into a "flow state" of intense concentration: Propelled by empathy and dedication to serve—utilizing the interview skills I have developed over decades—I tap into my bank of experience, to help you arrive at a resolution of the issue at hand. (The process begins, of course, with asking questions and listening carefully.)

The physician-poet Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. (1809-1894) famously observed that, "Many people die with their music still in them. Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time runs out."

If you perceive the urgency of resolving some important life issue sooner rather than later, you are welcome to email me (Dan@XpressLifeCoaching.com), for a preliminary discussion. I will begin by asking you a couple of basic questions, to make sure the chances are good that I can help you. (Even if I didn't end up charging you anything for the session, your time is valuable and I only want you to invest it in a meeting with me if it's likely to be worthwhile for you.)

FAQ

Q: How did you get involved with life coaching?
A: It came as a natural outgrowth of the other consulting work I do, in communication. A holistic approach to helping people with their resumes, for example, led to career counseling, which in turn led to life coaching.

Q: Do you have any official certifications as a life coach?
A: No, I do not. It seems to me that what is most important is a successful track record (as documented for me on Google and Yelp), in combination with the "risk reversal" scenario I offer all clients, as described above (I only accept your payment if you believe I have helped you). Those "certifications" represent money paid for training of various types to private companies and do not necessarily reflect ability or competence on the part of the practitioner.

Q: What are your educational credentials and career background?
A: I hold a Ph.D. and three master's degrees, earned at Harvard, Northwestern and UC Berkeley. I have taught at the college level in a number of subject areas. I have traveled extensively and studied abroad. I have worked in various occupations—and over the decades I have worked successfully with literally hundreds of different people. This range of experience helps make it possible for me to relate easily to almost everyone.

Q: Do you incorporate any kind of "New Age" techniques (meditation, qigong, yoga, crystals, etc.) into your sessions?
A: I believe in the value of meditation and some other practices but I do not incorporate those into my coaching sessions, only because I do not feel this is necessary. I have consistently been able to achieve good results for people purely through intelligent dialogue. Typically, these New Age techniques are used to justify pricey "packages" being sold by the consultant. I myself would not appreciate being charged a premium for a service that has been padded with various extras in order to justify high fees, so I would not do this to others.

Q: Could I work with you either in person or remotely?
A: Yes. For remote sessions, I use Google Drive in combination with a voice connection (phone or Skype).

Q: What is your fee structure and how do you accept payment?
A: I charge on the basis of an hourly rate ($250), with a $250 minimum when working together remotely and a $500 minimum when working together in person. Payment when working together remotely is accepted by Zelle or PayPal and, when working together in person, by cash or check or Zelle.

Q: May I make audio recordings of our sessions?
A: Yes.

Q: Where are you physically located?
A: In South San Jose, near the intersection of Blossom Hill Road and Snell Avenue. The exact address and related information are sent by email prior to confirmed appointments.

Q: My friend told me you are fluent in Chinese. Could you work with me in Mandarin if I prefer and, if so, would there be any additional charge for that?
A: Yes, I could work with you in Chinese, for which there would be no additional charge.

Q: How can you afford to make such a brash offer ("satisfaction guaranteed or you don't owe me anything")?
A: Simply because clients are almost always satisfied, more than 99% of the time. If on rare occasion someone says s/he is not, I can easily absorb the loss.

Q: What if the question on my mind is not answered on this web page?
A: You are always welcome to email me (Dan@XpressLifeCoaching.com), for a prompt response.
